Jello Layer Ingredients
- 3 pkg Sugar Free Jello (assorted flavors)
- 1 1/2 cups Boiling Water (divided)
Cream Cheese Mixture
- 1 cup Cream Cheese (divided)
- 1 1/2 cups Whipping Cream
- Prepare Whipped Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whip 1/4 cup of cream cheese until soft and creamy. Gradually add the whipping cream and continue whipping until stiff peaks form, creating a light and fluffy base.
- Dissolve Jello: In a saucepan over high heat, bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil. Add one packet of sugar-free jello and stir until fully dissolved, ensuring a smooth mixture.
- Blend Jello and Cream Cheese: Divide the whipped cream into three separate bowls. In a blender, combine the dissolved jello with 1/4 cup of cream cheese and blend until smooth. Gently fold this jello mixture into one bowl of whipped cream using a mixer until fully incorporated.
- Assemble First Layer: Carefully pour the jello mousse mixture into 4 cups, avoiding contact with the sides for a neat presentation. Place the cups in the freezer to set slightly.
- Repeat for Remaining Layers: Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the remaining two jello packets with cream cheese, layering each new color on top of the previous in the cups. Freeze between layers to help them set.
- Chill and Serve: Once all three layers are assembled, refrigerate the jello mousse cups for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld.
Notes
- For best layering results, allow each mousse layer to partially set in the freezer before adding the next.
- Use different flavored sugar-free jellos for a colorful presentation.
- If cream cheese is too firm, soften it slightly at room temperature for easier whipping.
- Serve chilled for a refreshing dessert experience.
