Ingredients

Scale

Slider Ingredients

  • 9 pack slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing
  • 1 tsp garlic butter (see below)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

Seasonings

  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika

Garlic Butter

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter with minced garlic. Set aside for later use to brush on the slider buns, adding extra flavor and a slight crisp.
  2. Mix the Chicken: In a medium bowl, toss shredded chicken with Frank’s buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until the chicken is evenly coated with the spicy and flavorful sauce.
  3. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns horizontally but keep them intact as a pack so you can warm them together. Place the bottom half in a baking pan, then evenly spread the buffalo chicken mixture over the buns. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken.
  4. Top and Brush: Place the top halves of the slider buns on the cheese. Using a pastry brush, spread the prepared garlic butter generously over the tops of the buns for a golden finish and extra flavor.
  5. Bake the Sliders: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the sliders for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are toasted slightly.
  6. Serve Warm: Remove from the oven, slice between the buns to separate into individual sliders, and serve immediately. These spicy buffalo chicken sliders pair excellently with celery sticks and extra ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute shredded rotisserie chicken for a time-saving shortcut.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to control the level of spiciness.
  • Feel free to use any shredded cheese you prefer; pepper jack adds extra kick.
  • For a crispier top, broil the sliders for 1-2 minutes after baking but watch carefully to avoid burning.
  • These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
