Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 (24 oz) bag frozen ravioli
  • 1 (24 oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it ready for baking the dish.
  2. Prepare the ravioli and sauce: In a baking dish, spread half of the jar of pasta sauce to coat the bottom. Then layer half of the frozen ravioli evenly on top of the sauce. Spoon half of the remaining sauce over the ravioli.
  3. Add cheese: Sprinkle one cup of shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauced ravioli layer.
  4. Repeat layering: Repeat the layering process with the remaining ravioli, the rest of the pasta sauce, and finish with the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the ravioli is cooked through.
  6. Cool and serve: Let the lazy lasagna cool for 5 minutes before serving to allow it to set and be easier to slice.

Notes

  • You can use any variety of ravioli, such as cheese-filled or meat-filled, depending on your preference.
  • If you want a crispier top, broil the lasagna for 2-3 minutes after baking, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Feel free to add Italian herbs like basil or oregano to the sauce for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
