Ingredients

Scale

Dairy

  • 1 cup half & half
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Sweets & Syrups

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (store-bought or homemade mocha syrup)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (preferably dark local honey)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine Dairy and Sugar: In a small saucepan, pour in 1 cup half & half and 1/2 cup heavy cream. Add 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. Stir gently to mix the sugar with the dairy base.
  2. Melt Mini Marshmallows: Place 1 cup mini marshmallows into the saucepan with the dairy mixture. Heat on medium-low, stirring frequently until the marshmallows melt completely and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Add Chocolate Syrup and Honey: Once marshmallows are melted, stir in 1/4 cup chocolate syrup and 2 tablespoons honey. Continue to heat for another 1-2 minutes, mixing well to blend all flavors together.
  4. Cool and Store: Remove the saucepan from heat and let the creamer cool to room temperature. Pour into a clean jar or bottle with a lid and refrigerate. Shake well before each use.
  5. Use and Enjoy: Add a splash of your homemade s’mores creamer to coffee, oatmeal, or use as a glaze on desserts for a cozy, nostalgic twist.

Notes

  • Use dark local honey for a richer, more robust honey flavor.
  • Store the creamer refrigerated and shake well before use; it will keep for up to 1 week.
  • For a vegan or dairy-free version, substitute coconut milk creamer and vegan marshmallows, though texture and flavor will vary.
  • You can make homemade mocha syrup to replace store-bought chocolate syrup for deeper chocolate flavor.
  • The creamer is excellent as a drizzle over oatmeal or French toast besides coffee.
