Chilled Peach Moscato Sangria Recipe

4.6 from 104 reviews

This Chilled Peach Moscato Sangria is a light, refreshing cocktail perfect for warm weather gatherings. Combining fresh strawberries, peaches, raspberries, Moscato wine, and a splash of peach juice and triple sec, it offers a sweet, fruity flavor balanced by a fizzy ginger ale topping. The drink is chilled for at least two hours to meld the flavors and served with fresh fruit garnishes for a vibrant presentation.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Sangria:

  • 16 oz fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 1/2 cup triple sec (or Chambord for a darker hue)
  • 1/2 cup peach juice (such as R.W. Knudsen Organic Peach Nectar)
  • 2 ripe peaches or nectarines (sliced)
  • 1 chilled 750 ml bottle Moscato wine
  • 6 oz fresh raspberries

For Serving:

  • Ginger ale (or soda water for a less sweet option)

Instructions

  1. Assemble the Ingredients in the Pitcher: Add the sliced strawberries, peaches, and raspberries into the bottom of a large pitcher. Pour in the chilled Moscato, triple sec or Chambord, and peach juice over the fruit. Gently stir to combine and start infusing flavors.
  2. Chill the Sangria: Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours. This resting time allows the fruit flavors to meld beautifully with the wine and spirits. For a deeper, more developed taste, leave it overnight but do not exceed 24 hours to keep the fruit fresh.
  3. Serve the Sangria: When ready to serve, pour the mixture into wine glasses, filling them about three-quarters full and including some of the soaked fruit in each glass. Top off each glass with ginger ale, club soda, or your preferred bubbly beverage to add a refreshing fizz.
  4. Garnish and Enjoy: Add extra pieces of fresh fruit as garnish to each glass for a festive and colorful finish. Serve immediately while chilled and bubbly.

Notes

  • For a less sweet sangria, substitute ginger ale with soda water or club soda.
  • Use Chambord instead of triple sec for a richer, raspberry flavor and a deeper color.
  • Chilling time can be adjusted based on how intense you want the fruit flavors to be melded with the wine.
  • Do not let the sangria sit longer than 24 hours to avoid fruit spoilage.
  • Fresh, ripe peaches and berries provide the best flavor; adjust fruit quantities as desired for more or less sweetness.
