Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, minced garlic, sour cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated and creamy.
  2. Warm the Tortillas: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Lightly brush each tortilla with melted butter on both sides and warm them in the skillet for about 30 seconds to 1 minute per side until they are soft and pliable.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Spoon an equal amount of the chicken mixture onto the center of each warmed tortilla. Spread it evenly, leaving space on the edges to fold.
  4. Roll the Wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards then roll tightly from one end to the other to form neat wraps. You can secure them with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Optional – Grill the Wraps: For a crispy finish, place the rolled wraps seam side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side over medium heat until golden brown and cheese inside is melted.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove wraps from heat, cut in half if desired, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
