Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Mixture

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 10.5 oz milk (use the cream of chicken soup can to measure)
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp oregano

Crescent Rolls

  • 2 packages crescent rolls (8 count each)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking the crescent rolls.
  2. Prepare Chicken Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, shredded mozzarella cheese, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, and oregano. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Prepare Crescent Rolls: Unroll both packages of crescent roll dough and separate them into individual triangles according to the perforations.
  4. Fill Crescent Rolls: Place about 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken and cheese mixture near the wide end of each crescent roll triangle. Be careful not to overfill.
  5. Roll and Shape: Starting from the wide end, roll each crescent triangle up tightly over the filling and place them seam side down on an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm. Enjoy your cheesy chicken crescent rolls as a delicious snack or meal.

Notes

  • Use cooked and shredded chicken from rotisserie or boiled chicken breasts for convenience.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle some additional oregano or mozzarella cheese on top before baking.
  • You can add chopped vegetables like bell peppers or spinach to the filling for more texture and nutrition.
  • Serve with a side of marinara or ranch dressing for dipping if desired.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven for best results.
