Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Mixture

  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (divided)
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded (divided)

Rolls and Topping

  • 1 package Kings Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350° F to prepare for baking the sliders.
  2. Prepare Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and garlic powder. Set this mixture aside for later use.
  3. Make Chicken Mixture: In another bowl, mix together the shredded rotisserie chicken, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, and half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until well incorporated.
  4. Prepare Rolls: Carefully slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in a 9×13 inch baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
  5. Assemble Sliders: Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the chicken layer.
  6. Top and Brush: Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese-topped chicken mixture and brush the tops generously with the prepared melted butter and garlic powder mixture.
  7. Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to let the flavors meld and the cheeses melt.
  8. Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops of the sliders turn golden brown and slightly crispy.
  9. Serve: Remove from the oven, slice the sliders apart, and serve warm for a flavorful, crowd-pleasing dish.

Notes

  • Using rotisserie chicken saves preparation time and adds extra flavor.
  • You can adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to control the spice level.
  • For a crispier top, broil the sliders for 1-2 minutes after baking uncovered, watching closely to avoid burning.
  • Feel free to substitute ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing for a tangier flavor.
  • Make sure to cover the sliders during the first part of baking to keep them moist and prevent drying.
