Ingredients

Scale

Egg Mixture

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Dough and Filling

  • 2 (8-ounce) cans crescent dough sheets*
  • 1/3 cup whipped chive and onion cream cheese
  • 8 ounces ground breakfast sausage, cooked
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, red bell pepper, milk, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Cook the Eggs: Pour the egg mixture into a non-stick pan over medium heat and scramble gently until just cooked through but still moist. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Prepare the Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent dough sheets and separate them into triangles as directed on the package.
  5. Assemble the Rolls: Spread a small amount of whipped chive and onion cream cheese on each dough triangle. Then layer with cooked sausage, crumbled bacon, scrambled eggs, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Roll the Dough: Carefully roll each crescent dough triangle starting from the wide end to the point, sealing the filling inside. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet sealed side down.
  7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious breakfast rolls warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute the whipped chive and onion cream cheese with plain cream cheese mixed with chopped fresh herbs.
  • To make preparation easier, cook the sausage and bacon ahead of time.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the eggs.
  • These rolls can be wrapped individually and frozen before baking for a quick breakfast option.
