Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup protein powder (vanilla flavor recommended)
  • a pinch salt

Dairy & Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened (Can substitute with plant-based cream cheese if dairy-free)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (Adjust sweetness as desired)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fruits

  • ½ cup fresh blueberries (Gently folded into the mixture)

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, blend the rolled oats, softened cream cheese, plain Greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is uniform and creamy.
  2. Fold in blueberries: Gently incorporate the fresh blueberries into the mixture, taking care not to crush or mash them excessively so that they maintain their shape and texture.
  3. Form bites: Using your hands, scoop out approximately one tablespoon of the mixture at a time and roll it into a ball. Place each formed ball onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Continue until all the mixture is used.
  4. Chill: Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator and allow the protein bites to firm up for 30 to 60 minutes. This chilling step helps the bites set and makes them easier to handle.
  5. Serve and store: Once chilled and set, the blueberry cheesecake protein bites are ready to enjoy. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep them fresh.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, substitute cream cheese with plant-based cream cheese.
  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey or maple syrup according to taste.
  • Use vanilla flavored protein powder for best flavor, though other flavors may work as well.
  • These bites can be stored refrigerated for up to 5 days.
  • These are no-bake protein bites, making them quick and easy to prepare without any cooking required.
