  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan or mini muffin tin thoroughly to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed banana, pure maple syrup or honey, oil or water, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients: Stir the flour, baking powder, and salt into the wet mixture until just combined, forming a smooth donut batter.
  4. Fill the Pan: Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared donut pan or mini muffin tin, smoothing the tops as needed.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes or until the donuts have risen and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  6. Cool and Remove: Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then carefully remove them. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
